My post graduate work has enabled me to have extensive experience in the dynamic field of mental health, PTSD and other trauma, addiction, personality disorders, dissociation, and Mindfulness. My education has also taken me to China on a couple of occasions where I have conducted research and completed course work in the field of psychology, anthropology, and multiculturalism.

I was also in the first international Teacher Training in Mindful Self Compassion from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of California in San Diego. I have had the pleasure of being directly trained by such distinguished world renowned teachers as Dr. Jack Kornfield, Dr. Tara Brach, Dr. Kristen Neff, Dr. Chris Germer, Dr. Steven Hickman and His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

Since 1997, I have worked to empower individuals and their families towards successfully achieving their goals in a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. After a thorough assessment, I utilize a variety of sound successful therapeutic approaches to customize treatment to each person’s needs. My clients come from various backgrounds ranging in different illness such as Stress, Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Depression, Bipolar, Addiction, Eating Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, OCD, Personality Disorder, Attachment Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Relationship Conflict, Grief and Loss, etc. My specialty is in the field of trauma recovery and healing where often people suffer from dissociation and detachment created by single episode or complex traumatic events such as abuse, neglect, assault, life threatening events, death of a loved one, war, etc.

In addition to psychotherapy, I also teach classes on Mindfulness, conduct workshops, participate in public service videos on mental health, and volunteer in the community.
