Contact Email:email@example.comLinkedInFollowing heartbreak in midlife, Kelly began practicing meditation in 2016 and completed courses in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT), while also focusing anew on her passion for painting and poetry. In 2021, she graduated from the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Trained as a literary scholar with a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan, Kelly works in higher education and academic libraries. She serves as an Associate Dean for Learning and Research Services at the University of Miami Libraries, where she leads community mindfulness sessions in collaboration with other mindfulness practitioners at the University. She is currently focused on exploring the intersection of libraries, mindfulness, and creativity.
