Dori Langevin, Psy.D

Welcome to this teacher training adventure. I am returning for the third time to serve in the role of “mentor-midwife” to support and challenge 30 brave beings to develop their voices as meditation teachers. The teachings and practices of mindfulness and compassion have served awakening for thousands of years and you are part of this tradition now.

My meditation path began with Jack in 1985 and deepened in 1997 with Tara as The Insight Meditation Community of Washington (IMCW) Sangha was born. At Tara’s invitation, I began teaching in 2003 and completed the Spirit Rock/Insight Meditation Society (IMS) Teacher Training Program in 2010. I love sharing the Buddha’s radical teachings and practices that empower us to live with wakefulness, compassion, and wisdom in the midst of our messy yet radiant lives. I am committed to “re-membering” the qualities of the Sacred Feminine variance of vision, inclusivity, interdependence, and reverence for life, honoring inner authority and embodied presence.
