We are living through a moment that asks something of each of us. Fear, division, injustice, and violence are present in our communities and in our world. And yet these difficulties are not the end of the story.

As Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach have witnessed across decades of teaching, the practices of mindfulness and compassion offer something no crisis can diminish: the capacity to stay present, to act with courage, to be inspired by love, and to meet suffering—in ourselves and in others—with a caring and open heart.

As Jack has observed of MMTCP graduates: “There’s almost no profession where it’s not helpful.” Nurses in neonatal ICUs. Educators changing school systems. Therapists, coaches, and yoga teachers. Community leaders reaching those most in need. Those trained to bring mindfulness into the rooms where they already serve consistently find that this dimension of their work amplifies everything else they do — and that the training changes the teacher along the way.

Join Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach for a live conversation and guided meditation on what it means to bring greater presence, courage, and compassion into our world — and into the work of serving others.
