Craig Hase began intensive meditation training in 1994 as a senior in high school. He has practiced extensively in the Insight, Zen, and Vajrayana traditions. After leaving the monastery where he lived for six years, he earned a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the spring of 2020, he and his wife Devon published a book called How Not to Be a Hot Mess: A Survival Guide for Modern Life. These days, Craig spends a good deal of his time in meditation retreat and semi-retreat. He also mentors practitioners one-on-one and teaches meditation and mindfulness in dharma groups, corporations, clinics, and nonprofits. For more info check out devonandcraighase.com.
