I am a white, heterosexual, cisgender female, able-bodied licensed psychologist, yoga teacher, and certified mindful self-compassion (MSC) teacher in private practice in Colorado. I have practiced yoga for 28 years, vipassana meditation since 2003, and teach MSC and MBSR classes and other mindfulness offerings in person and online. Particular interests include women in the dharma; mindfulness related to aging, illness, and dying; ecodharma; and cultivating the heart for difficult times. Clinical specialties include trauma, grief and loss, work-life balance, and chronic illness/health challenges. After mentoring MMTCP II, I am delighted to return for MMTCP III. I take a developmental approach to mentoring and strive to be supportive, flexible, and available. I think we learn best when there is a measure of ease, enjoyment, patience, humor, and a healthy dose of self-compassion. I look forward to having the honor of joining you for the adventure of MMTCP III. Learn more about me at jeanleonardphd.com.
