Kerstin Deibert has been working with NGOs and activist groups in Europe, Africa, and Asia as a facilitator, conflict mediator, peace activist and social justice advocate for more than 20 years. A guiding question for her is how to apply the teachings of the Buddha to the global challenges of our times in a way that brings joy and connection. As a teacher, Kerstin examines the hands-on dimensions of the dharma, relating mindfulness practice to human relationships, conflict situations, and questions around living in harmony with the natural world.
She has been practicing meditation since 2002, sitting intensive retreats in the US, Germany, and Burma/Myanmar. Kerstin enjoys supporting meditation practitioners in a retreat context and in individual mentoring settings. She is a qualified MBSR teacher and has been practicing various mindful movement practices for many years. Alongside classical intensive retreat, she loves exploring self-retreats while camping in solitude in nature. She is mainly based in Germany and the UK.
