Kerstin is a facilitator, conflict mediator, peace activist and trainer for nonviolence. Her greatest passion is applying the dharma and mindfulness practice towards creating a more just and peaceful planet, and she has worked with NGOs and activist groups around the world, including Kenya, Zimbabwe, India, Nepal, New Zealand, and Germany. Kerstin has been practicing meditation for almost 20 years, sitting intensive retreats since 2010. Her teaching focuses on the hands-on dimensions of the dharma, relating the Buddha’s teachings to human relationships and conflict situations. She is also trained in MBSR.
As a facilitator, Kerstin is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where individuals feel welcome, safe, seen, and heard. She encourages participation and connection, balancing a structured, well-organized approach with flexibility and responsiveness to the group’s needs. She offers groups in English and German. Kerstin loves trees, birds, being in the ocean, and mindful movement.
