Genevieve Tregor

Genevieve Tregor, MS, has practiced vipassana meditation in-depth under Western and monastic teachers since 2008, with a year-and-a-half in cumulative retreat. She is founding teacher of Insight Meditation Scottsdale community, SolutionMindfulness.com, and OneWorldMindfulness.com—creating and teaching classes, workshops, and retreats in secular and Buddhist contexts, and teaching alongside senior teachers in the Insight tradition.

Genevieve seeks to support each student in finding their unique embodied teaching style. Her students appreciate her sense of humor, and direct and down-to-earth approach. She takes joy in sharing the dharma and the essentials of teaching.

Her professional background and education is in health care and health education. Genevieve received the TEAM fellowship for certification with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) and the American Council on Education (ACE), teaching cultural aspects of health and illness as adjunct faculty at South Mountain Community College. She has completed the three-year Somatic Experiencing (SE) professional training for healing trauma. This will be her third cohort of MMTCP students.
